The Chateau de Poigny

Our home for the week is a 6000 square foot home with 10 Bedrooms and 6.5 bathroom on 3 private acres with a pond.
This one-of-a- kind 1825 Historical Mansion was spectacularly restored, decorated and fully furnished in 2007 by
World-renown interior designer David Hare.

We will enjoy the hustle and bustle from museums and attractions. And when we are all done, we will return to this calm
heaven of luxury to relax and unwind. You will only hear birds chirping and church bells. The fresh air from the century-old
trees in the 3-acre acre park will rejuvenate your lungs and help you sleep deeper than you've ever have. The next morning,
you will wake up full of energy and serenity, ready to go for another day of workshop adventures and French delicacies.

All accommodations are double rooms with a shared bath and either 2 twin beds or 1 king/queen bed. Roommates will be
assigned by Art in the Mountains unless requested otherwise. There is one room that is single and accessed from the
outside of the building. This room will be saved for a special circumstance. The guest rooms are located on both the main
floor and second floor. There are no elevators. Each guest room is different, furnished with unique pieces and materials
suited to the colours of the walls. Some rooms are larger and may be considered better sleeping arrangements. However,
since we cannot visit the site preworkshop. Rooms will be assigned as best available room at the time of registration and in
the order received.

We have sleeping accommodations for 19 -  participants and expect to fill every available bed. Our workshop size is limited
by the number of non-painting companions that may attend, ie, 12 students and 7 non-painters  vs 17 students and 2
non-painters. We cannot say for certain how many painters will sign-up, but we know we already have a few, so our
maximum class size at this time is 14.
