Bend is at an elevation of 3,400 feet and is the gateway to the Cascade Mountains. The mountain range is protected by
National Forest and is about a short, 25-30 minute drive from the classroom.  Make this drive a "must" after class some day
as it affords spectacular mountain scenery.

Workshop Location:  The DoubleTree by Hilton is located in the heart of Bend's historical waterfront downtown.  Classes
will be held in the meeting rooms of the newly renovated hotel. One-of-a-kind shops, restaurants, galleries and the park are
within an easy walk.  It is the perfect location for classes painting plein air, and for studio classes to get a quick lunch. The
demonstration projection, and individual tables and chairs for students.  There are no stairs to climb or charge for parking.
Request an Art in the Mountains rate of $199 +tax for a single king bed or 2 queen beds.  This fee includes a full breakfast
and will not go up on the weekends.  

Class Hours will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. all days, though usually end at 3 p.m.on the final day, Lunch Hour is from 12:00
p.m. to 1:00 p.m. However, some instructors may elect to take 1.5 hour lunch break and extend class until 4:30 p.m.  Class
doors will be open at 1:00 if you return early.
