    ARLETA PECH  began her fine art painting career in Colorado; She is listed in “Who’s Who in American Art”.  Her work was
    represented in a touring museum exhibit “The New Reality: The Frontier of Realism in the 21st Century 2008-2009, and
    was selected for the Woodson Art Museum touring exhibit in 2004 and 2005 for Birds in Art. She is a Member of The
    International Realism Guild, and A signature member of the Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Society. Arleta’s images
    have received international exposure though published reproductions by Mill Pond Press, and with over forty one woman
    shows and appearances across the US and Canada. She has authored two books the first was “Painting Fresh Florals In
    Watercolor” released in 1998, and reprinted in 2003, and in 2009 her oil book “Transparent Oils, creating paintings that
    Glow”.  The artist lives and works in Colorado, USA, She exhibits in Canada and the United States.

Class Outline

    Learn to achieve luminous glazes of color to create realistic forms that can be used to paint any subject.  Arleta will
    demonstrate her color theory glazing on simple studies that focus on color, value, shape and edges.  Susan and Arleta will
    be sharing their approach to painting and their techniques with each others class.  Artists will return to their classrooms to
    continue learning with their selected instructor.  Arleta’s work has been featured in the Artist’s Magazine.  She is the author of
    Painting Fresh Florals in Watercolor and Transparent Oils, Creating Paintings that Glow. You can take either Susan or
    Arleta's class to experience this unique Two Views class. Susan and Arleta will be sharing our techniques with one another
    classes with short DEMOS on their backgrounds and Glazing techniques, and talking about how they approach their
    paintings.  Plan to bring one painting for the TWO views critique on the last day of class, where Susan and Arleta will bring
    the classes together for this final sharing of information. Susan and Arleta are good friends, so don't delay this is a once in a
    lifetime opportunity to get double the learning for the price of one class.

    This Color glazing class has received RAVE reviews from artists attending. Arleta demonstrates each technique on simple
    studies in the color-glazing workshop that focus on color, value, shape and edges, the four keys to better paintings. So you
    learn how color theory glazing creates realistic forms, and can be used to paint any subject. Students will receive printed
    study drawings with notes on the color glazes & other need to know information. This is a NO drawing required to take this
    fun class full of laughs and learning.
      
    Day one-        Background Demo Susan and Arleta 30 Min.
                           Arleta's class will continue to work on backgrounds and first glazes on the Pear.
    Day two -      Glazing Demo Susan and Arleta 30 min.
                           Arleta's class will continue to work on finishing the pear and starting the Rose
    Day Three-    Painting talk- by Susan and Arleta 30 min.
                           Arleta's class will continue to build value on the rose
    Day four -       NO DEMO so classes can finish paintings
                           Arleta's class will finish the rose and begin work on the Tin cup study
    Day five-        End of class Critique by Arleta and Susan. Arleta's class will finish the Tin cup study.
